I absolutely love what Tesla has done for the industry by forcing ICE manufacturers to get off their asses and start building serious compelling EV's that customers are actually asking for. Realistically if you bought FSD at $10k today, chances are you will never see actual FSD functionality for the entire life of your vehicle, and that is not ok.

When asked Elon always says it's about a year away, but they've been saying that for years now. With that said I'm really not surprised to see this because Tesla has a proven history of selling promises and vaporware, like their full self driving that they will happily charge their customers upwards of $10,000 for full self driving when they know darn well it's a level 2 system and nowhere near ready to perform completed unassisted full self driving. I'm glad to see this test performed again to give Tesla every possible opportunity to redeem itself, unfortunately however Tesla still falls flat on it's face on every single EPA range figure. Even allowing for the additional miles recorded after an indicated zero, only two of the six Teslas we tested would hit their EPA figures in our real-world conditions. Our tests showed that there is no fixed safety buffer.
